The last couple of weeks I’ve been working on prototypes for bloomies - in both plain jane and ruffle bum - to cover up those boring 'ole diapers.. After trying out a few different styles, a favorite has been found. Yeah!
The first pair of ruffle bums is offered in various shades of pink to match our Pink Chick logo, of course! But they also coordinate with several other items in our spring collection. They’re perfect with the Ring Around the Posies dress, the big pink dot side of the reversible Rainbow Garden cross-back dress, both sides of the reversible Hot Pink Mod dress, and the Pink Gingham Check onesie dress. Tomorrow, if the weather cooperates with some sunshine, I’ll get photos of the denim blue bloomies from the weekend sewing. I love the colors: light blue dot, batik, darker blue, blue leopard. Gotta see ‘em. Next up: black and white bloomies to go with the Ring Around the Posies dress, lady bug collection, and some new stuff slated for May-June release.
