1970s Fabric Flashback

Don't you just luv this fabric? It reminds me of this outfit my own Mom made for me in the 1970s. It was flareleg pants with a top/dress made of mod big print in bright colors and I absolutely loved it. It was one of those outfits you didn't want to take off. I swear I had an extra bounce in my walk when I wore it. I'll try to find a photo of it on my next visit to my parents.

This fabric is from the Rainbow Garden collection. It makes you feel happy just to look at it so imagine what it'll do for you if you actually wear it. I bought several different prints from the collection and am trying them out in different styles. Here's a look at a darling jumper/dress that'll be available in sizes 6 mo to 6 yr. As your child goes the dress can be worn as a top so you're likely to get two years of wear rather than the usual one. The fabric has so many colors: med pink, hot pink, light purple, aqua blue, orange, a little red, and even a tinge of bright blue. Think of how many different outfits you can get out of that. A few are pictured. As an added bonus, the cute little thing is reversible with a flipside is pink polka dots. The jumper can be worn alone, with shorts, capris, pants, onesie, long sleeve tee. This will be one of those pieces you reach for time and time again.
Our etsy store is expected to be up and running in a couple of days so check back for a link.
